  15. Sure, there is.  My version of MakeTeXPK (actually consisting of two
  16. Perl scripts) is set up to parse the `psfonts.map' file to detect if
  17. the font is a PostScript font.  If it is, `ps2pk' is invoked with
  18. appropriate arguments on the font.  It would be very easy to modify
  19. the script to do nothing if you don't have PFA/PFB files for the
  20. PostScript fonts.
